 B.W. Lyons Guitars became a business from the need to dispose of several guitars in my cousin’s estate.  The cleanest ones  were sold first, then as repairs were needed on the others, the experience and knowledge of how to repair the guitars was gained.  Eventually, I began repairing them, and even assembling electric guitars.  I do provide a custom-built electric guitar in a variety of styles, colors, and components.








Used/Repaired Axes

We do have some used guitars, some which just needed cleaning and adjusting, and others which needed a fair amount of repair.  Featured here is a Gibson electric, a student model named "Epoch".  This is a Les Paul style guitar which was produced with a laminated body (several layers of thin wood glued together much like plywood, but with a much denser result).  This guitar's neck was shattered.  With the neck being a bolt-on, we simply fitted a new neck to the body.  It sounds and plays great!
