 B.W. Lyons Guitars became a business from the need to dispose of several guitars in my cousin’s estate.  The cleanest ones  were sold first, then as repairs were needed on the others, the experience and knowledge of how to repair the guitars was gained.  Eventually, I began repairing them, and even assembling electric guitars.  I do provide a custom-built electric guitar in a variety of styles, colors, and components.








 

We are gathering information for DIY (Do It Yourself) guitar builders for building and for repairing guitars.  The first source of information we have found is a company called "Paint Your Own Guitar."  Their name  should explain what information they provide.

You would also find a wealth of information at Stewart-McDonald's website: www.stewmac.com.  StewMac provides all types of parts and hardware as well as tools for any type of job you might need to do.

We will be assembling some pictures and detailed information on improving your pickups, as i have been working on this project with one of my own axes.
