 B.W. Lyons Guitars became a business from the need to dispose of several guitars in my cousin’s estate.  The cleanest ones  were sold first, then as repairs were needed on the others, the experience and knowledge of how to repair the guitars was gained.  Eventually, I began repairing them, and even assembling electric guitars.  I do provide a custom-built electric guitar in a variety of styles, colors, and components.








Our Mission

B.W. Lyons Guitars provides a very well-built guitar with quality, custom parts for an affordable price.  Our intention has been to produce a fine, custom guitar which has what you want, so you don’t have to buy a complete guitar, strip it down, and install the parts you want.  We have found the guitars we build are great as the second or third guitar for any guitar player, or with the right parts, can be a great guitar for the professional player as well.

We are also gathering information for DIY builders to enhance your skills an to improve your finished products.  First of all, we are working with a company called "Paint Your Own Guitar."  They provide a wealth of information on just that, painting your own guitar.
